OUR PERSONAL STORIES
I have changed entirely. And there is so much behind this simple sentence. The best way I can describe it is by doing a before and after.
Before - I've been a programmer for the last 12 years. You can picture me working at a desk for 10+ hours a day. My breakfast was a sandwich from a cafe, lunch was at a random place with colleagues (Chinese street food, kebabs, pizza), and dinner was a food takeaway. I was not cheap when it came to food and believed I was eating well because of that. I could not be more wrong. I was going to the gym inconsistently as my workouts were exhausting. The exercises that I did were something that a bodybuilder would do - lifting weights, pulling cables, using machines.
After - At the end of the first week with URegimen Health Retreat, I noticed a change in how I felt. It turned out I was in a mild but constant state of an upset stomach. All the extra oils, sauces, cheese, spices, and empty carbs were something I didn't pay attention to. I felt so light and relieved when they were gone! I started noticing every ingredient that made up my meal. This allowed me to understand why it was better to prepare my own food. The workouts in the retreat focused on being active and mobile. Day-to-day tasks became so uncomplicated. It simply felt good to feel good! 28 days of no artificial sauces and added sugars had allowed me to start loving clean food. It was no longer a diet - but a change of choice.
This was 3 years ago, I have not changed since!
